Okay, so, this is Jenn Aguirre, I’m here with a little bit of information on my new kettle bell program. So, I am a very big fan of kettle bells as you can see we are in my personal training studio and then we have all these kettle bells back here. We pretty much use a kettle bell with every one of my workouts in my training sessions.

Um, the reason why is because kettle bell training is all about power from the hips from the abs from the glutes from everywhere. All shoulder stabilization and I’m a big fan as you guys have seen from my core videos of getting your shoulders to be nice and strong ‘cause most core exercises is all about either shoulder endurance, shoulder strength so that you can really truly engage the core in the right way.  If your shoulders are not strong, have no stamina you’re going to feel it more there, then you are going to feel it in your abs.  So kettle bells is all about a combination of all those things.

 They can be dynamic, for fat, for accelerated fat loss, it can be um, um, about strength and control so you engage every other muscle. So basically, every single muscle, so basically what I’m gonna do is give you a little taste. So in my program I give a number of videos, um, workouts, food blogging all that other stuff so you guys are gonna go down and click on the picture and you can hear more about it.

But, this is just a little taste of a little quick circuit. This is not one of the circuits that’s in there I’m giving you a little something new. But this is kind of like what my style is and how I do things. So I have my little cheat sheet on my board over there, you guys don’t need to see it , I’m allowed to cheat, you’re allowed to write this down right now. So basically we’re gonna go ahead and grab a lighter kettle bell and we’re do what’s called Gladiators. So you’re gonna start laying down and you’re gonna do a full crunch all the way up here and if you need to you can use your arm up to your elbow.

Just like on Turkish Getup and now you’re gonna bend this leg, up, come to the side, stack your feet, as you can see I’m not looking at the camera anymore because I need to concentrate.  But you can keep this leg here if you need to the whole entire time. Here, stack it, then come back. So I’m gonna run through three. If you need to, if you can’t stack it, then leave ‘em here and go right back.  It’s still a good exercise, ‘k. Now, second movement is gonna be, you can go with a little bit of a heavier kettle bell,  so it’s called, Across, Cross Chop Rear Lunge so that’s what I’m doing. So basically you’re gonna start in a clean position, you’re gonna lunge forward with the left leg (so opposite leg) and you’re gonna chop over on the outside of the knee.

No taking out any knee caps, that’s not in the rotation. Okay, so don’t take out any knee caps. And then, make sure it’s a good lunge and use this hand to spot you. See how I’m holding my kettle bell, nice and strong. So you’re gonna go forward, chop it, come back. Chop, come back. So a regular crawl and clean, is here. You’re gonna go, across. Now I didn’t help on that time, but you can. So you’re gonna go, boom, push it backup it’s like a little self spot, k. So basically, if you haven’t noticed, I did one side yes for demonstration purposes of the video.

But this is how I usually like to do things; we’re gonna do something on single arm. You’re gonna do the right arm, then you’re gonna go to the second exercise on the right arm. Then the third exercise is gonna be kettle bell pushup.  So you’re gonna bring your hand on this kettle bell, aye if you wanna get even more dynamic the same hand that’s on the kettle bell is the  leg that I’m gonna lift up and you’re gonna do  a pushup. Okay, I’m gonna give you your numbers afterwards.  Soon as your done with that, you’re gonna go back to, so we’re kinda going like dynamic, control, dynamic, control, we’re gonna go back to a full Turkish Getup. So now you’re gonna grab your heavier kettle bell, hold it, come up on the side, here, to the side but you’re not gonna go fully through like a gladiator you’re just gonna step back into a reverse lunge, here, up, reverse lunge, to the side, and lay down. So that was my whopping arm demonstration.

So I have the video and you can also watch my video on how to do a Turkish Getup but basically your gonna go ahead, let’s just say we do the Gladiator 15 times, let’s just say we do the Cross Lunge 20-25 times or remember if all these things don’t feel like maybe you don’t have access to heavy enough weight then go ahead and do more reps. But if it is heavy enough then do the numbers that I’m telling you. Right after that single leg, single leg pushups, give me 30 and then right after that do 10 Turkish Getups, ‘k. Then, go to the other side so then you’ll go right to Gladiators on the other side. Then you’ll go right to the Cross Lunge on the other side, then the pushups, then the Turkish Getups.

Agrgh! You guys are killing me. I just talked to my husband about joining and he said there is no way we can afford it right now. We just opened a bakery last year and we're still living off of his non-profit salary. :(
