Fat Loss Expert Shares Her Cardio Workout Part 2

Watch how Jenn Aguirre is Preparing for the Contra Costa Show

So, here I am in my garage. I’m going to give you guys a little tour. It is 6:15 and I just finished my run. I finished doing my emails at about 5:20 and was on my treadmill at about 5:30. I ran almost 5 miles (4.85 to be exact) in about 45 minutes. I don’t drop any lower than like 6.3 miles per hour. I think today was 6.5. Then, I’ll do little bursts of energy and try to go as high as I possibly can. Today I ran at 9.0. I do that for 45 second or 1 to 1.5 minute intervals. That’s how I was able to do that distance in that amount of time.

I’m going to tell you guys about the rest of my morning and how I get through this. There are some days where I can just have my music and run. This is my Nook. I have it on extra large bold print. This is what gets me through my runs pretty much everyday, but especially on the days that I really don’t have the energy to run. I love murder mysteries, but a book on my Nook as opposed to a paper book is really great to stay motivated. You can find this on Amazon.

I’m a multi-tasker. I’ll listen to my iPod…and I always have to download a new song every now and then. My clients laugh at me and everybody laughs at me because I’ll literally run for the full 45 minutes listening to the same song on repeat…especially if it’s a new one. Then I read my book. The print is so bold that it doesn’t make me nauseous. That is what my morning is.

Fat loss expert's son Koa

I have a three-year-old. He’s upstairs asleep. So, no matter what, I get up every single morning and I do my run on my treadmill just in case my day gets away from me where I can’t go back and do my other thing of cardio or my other workout. At least I got it in here. So, instead of walking through the house (because I don’t want to wake him up), I go straight from here into the kitchen to eat my oatmeal and my egg whites. Right after that, I go upstairs, take a shower, and get ready for work.

My son wakes up at 7 and I spend a good 25 minutes with him doing a puzzle, hanging out with him, and getting him ready for school. I do that every morning. Then, I drop him off at his preschool right down the block from my house, which is very convenient. Then I go into the studio and train all morning.

You guys are going to watch a video of me getting ready to go to the gym later on today. I’m going to show you guys my lunch afterwards and do a video of that. I want you guys to see what a typical day in my life is. I’m a busy mom. I train clients in the morning and at night. I also do these videos.

Fat loss expert and husband maintain a fitness blog

So, right now, the video I’m doing is for you guys on this (my treadmill). But, I’m doing other videos all the time. I have a virtual coaching program. My husband and I have a blog on the website where we’re constantly giving content and information about nutrition and videos of me working out in my house. This is how busy I am. But, no matter what, I can still stay healthy.

I also love to wear double layers of clothes because I like tosweat.

This is my morning. We’re really in my garage right now. I hope this motivates people and that’s the whole reason why I’m doing this. So, look for the next video. Let me know what you think of this stuff. I didn’t say that on the last video, but leave your comments and let me know what you think. Go get yourself a Nook; it’s really helpful. I’ll do a little overview of the garage then see you guys on the next video.

If you want to know more about my virtual training program...then go below these big red arrows to watch my video as I explain the program
