Bay Area Personal Trainer Trys Out for Spartacus Gods of the Arena

Are you ready to check out east bay personal trainer Jenn Aguirre is trying out for Spartacus Gods of the Arena

Have you ever watched the television show Spartacus Gods of the Arena?

East Bay Personal Trainer is trying out for the role Spartacus Gods of the Arena

It's one of my favorite shows and recently they are having a contest.

Basically the contest entails that anyone that can come up with the best 60 second workout video will be able to be a guest on the show.

So recently we put together a quick video on how we train. Hopefully this video impresses the judges.

But I'd like to hear what you have to say? Do you think this video is good enough? Is this video entertaining?

We'd love to hear your comments at the bottom

If nothing else--you pushing that truck full of people should get you picked! It would have been great to show the size of Christian so they could get the full effect of how much you were actually holding running up that hill... Great Video & good luck!

You are a beast in a beautiful body. You are truly amazing and an inspiration. The judges would be crazy not to choose you. You are Spartacus.
Posted @ Thursday, March 03, 2011 7:38 PM by Sarah
Pushing Truck… more angle so as to see her size better in comparison to the truck…. (makes it more dramatic)

On the hill need more angle shot so you can see the hill steepness and more of you Christian so as not to minimize the feat.

Need to see you clearly jumping over the tire (cuts off and happens to fast) and then maybe flipping it so all viewing can see the tire size in comparison to you after the feat of leaping over it…

Ending was good but I am thinking to do one last incredible feat to fade out to or move a dramatic piece to the end from one of the feats within the video.

Good luck definitely got my support! Just shows what dedication, perseverance and spirit can accomplish! GO NEW YORK!

Jenn aka Spartacus... Who would have thought that my nickname for you would be so right on! Sounds cliché... but you go gurl. They'll call you in just to see that body & that workout live. I'm just sayin'... :)

Jenn: I would lose the ropes... you make it look too easy. I would add more kettle bells and/or dumbells. Folks see the size you can work with... impressive. Pullups are also impressive. All guys would know right away how tough it is. I'm just sayin'...

Hey ,

I like it.....it shows your strength and the can do attitude..however, what do you think for.... one workout shot.... maybe you should take off your hat so they can see your pretty face and the attitude look and the rest with your hat.? ;) just a thought.....

Great job Jen! They need a warrior woman on that show that Kicks Ass!

You would fit the bill nicely, good luck with the audition.

Hey Jenn,

I'm familiar with the Spartacus series, I'm a fan (love those evil scoundrels who run house Batiatus) and I'm very excited about your chance to appear on the show. I worked for 25 years in the entertainment business, I've performed a lead role in a feature length independent film, and have a degree in visual effects (among others). I actually think what has you in contention has very little to do with your audition tape and everything to do with the casting director visiting your website and watching your videos there. The camera likes you, which is more important than anything else. Your obvious athleticism assures them that the stunt director can be very ambitious with his choreography. I'm assuming they intend to use you as a gladiator.

Here's a question that you can feel free to ignore since you don't know me:

Would you like to learn a little weapons choreography to put on display in a follow up audition tape? I have experience with long sword, short sword, dagger and battle axe in addition to a number of martial arts and I'm a good dancer. I choreographed and motion-capture performed 100% of all the combat for EA's The Lord of the Rings, The Two Towers video games. Obviously someone you know is pretty good at lighting, sound and camera. The visual style of Spartacus is to show off the buff physiques of the gladiators at every opportunity including how they block and choreograph arena combat. You could have yourself shot at appropriate distances and angles to display your fabulously fit body to best advantage. You've got to show them your torso and legs. Few stuntwomen can compete with yours.

If the casting director, director and the producers see you already looking like and moving like a gladiator it might just be the finishing touch to getting you in there.

Just an idea.

That was AWESOME...............you go girl....

The girl that I miss...You are rockin'. Screw Starz...how about network TV. You need to some close-ups of you working your ass off along with you as a whole pkg...the distance shots don't do you justice.

Miss you Jenn
