Today I wanted to share with you what kinds of seasoning is ok to put on your food in replace of sodium.
When starting any weight loss program, the first thing we tell our clients is to eliminate as much sodium from their diet. The reason for this is because sodium creates a ton of water retention and from limiting the amounts of sodium from your diet will help with weight loss.

Anytime we have a brand new coaching client, they always ask "What kind of seasoning should I put on my food besides salt?"
I know when starting a brand new nutrition program, you must get used to eliminating the bad items from your diet. Today I wanted to share with you what kinds of seasonings you can have to make your weight loss efforts easier.
Here are the seasonings:
1) Garlic Powder
2) Pepper
3) Rose Mary
4) Tyme
5) Salt Free Seasoning
6) Mrs. Dash

These are just a few seasonings that you can replace sodium with so that you don't feel you are on a restricted diet.
Remember you don't want to over exceed your sodium intake by 1000 or 1500 mg a day. It is very important for you to read food labels and eliminate foods high in sodium.
It is very easy to over exceed this daily amount. So the next time you are in the grocery store and want to add some flavor to your food...print up this list of seasonings and add them to your meals.
