When trying to lose weight it can be hard and frustrating. This Berkeley personal training program educates their clients on how to eat healthy while losing a ton of weight.

While on a weight loss program you want to make sure that you are eating enough calories and taking enough of the right nutrients so that your blood sugar levels don't crash.
When your blood sugar levels drop, you may experience headaches, feeling irritable, and extremely hungry. When these feelings occur, that's when you will start to over eat and consume junk food.
In this video will learn what foods to eat so that you won't experience a sugar crash.
Here are a few 3 Tips you will learn in this video:
Tip #1 One of the primary carbohydrates you should eat with a serving of protein is any carb that is brown. For example, brown rice, oatmeal, wheat bread, wheat tortilla, etc. The reason why these choices of carbohydrates are better than flour and corn based carbs is because they digest slowly in your system so that you can sustain energy.
When carbs gets digested too quickly, the carbs turns to sugar and then gets stored as fat. While eating foods that will slowly digest into your system, your body will have enough time to utilize it as energy.
If your body can use food for energy, your body will never store it as body fat.
Tip #2 Don't have complex carbs at night time with your dinner or after 1-2pm. Think of complex carbs as energy food. If you are not going to expend any energy to burn off those carbs it doesn't make sense to fuel up your body before you go to bed. It will just get stored as body fat.

Think of your body as a car and your complex carbs as gasoline. Why would you fill up your gas tank with gasoline and park it in the garage all night long if your not going to drive. The gasoline is going to just sit in the tank while the car is in park all night long. Thats what happens if you eat carbs at night before bed.
Your body has no use for it because your going to bed.
Tip #3 Don't have vegetables with your dinner that are high in color like carrots, tomatoes, bell peppers, etc. The more colorful the vegetables the higher carb (sugar content) you are taking in that will just get stored as body fat.
Tip #4 Have more greens with your dinner, it will give you a feeling of fullness so that you won't over eat.
Tip #5 Food log everyday to make sure you are not over eating and staying within your daily caloric consumption.
