In this video blog, El Sobrante personal training client Erika will share with you her top exercises that she does at home when she's not with her trainer.
When your on a weight loss program, it is very important to do extra exercises on your own and not depend on your weekley workouts from your trainer.
You should at least be doing cardio training on your own at least 4-5 days a week for 35-45 minutes a day. Remember the body doesn't start metabolizing bodyfat until after 30 minutes of exercise.
The reason why Erika lost over 60 pounds is because she did extra cardio and strength training exercises on her own.
When Erika isn't training with her trainer, this is the exact home workout that she does on her own:
1) Sit ups 3/4 x 25
2) Jumping Jacks 3/4 x 50 reps
3) Push ups 3/4 x 15-25 reps
4) High Knees 3/4 x 50 reps on each leg
5) Tricep dips 3/4 x 25 reps
6) Butt Kicks 3/4 x 50 on each leg
7) Prisoner Squat Jumps 3/4 x 25 reps
Superset all 7 exercises consecutively without any breaks. Do it 3 or 4 sets around.
This home workout is totally easy to do and can be modified for anyone at any fitness level.
