Hercules Fitness Studio Shares Proper Food Planning Techniques

We get a ton of questions from our clients and readers on this subject: "How can you eat healthy with a busy schedule." The secret that we use is to plan out your meals for the week by cooking on a Sunday.

Hercules Fitness Studio owner, Jenn Aguirre shares in this video how she eats healthy by planning and cooking her food for the week.

Follow these instructions below:

  • Get 4 dozen eggs and boil them up in a hot pot.
  • Get 10 chicken tenders or chicken breast and cook them all together in the oven.
  • Grab 2-3 bags of frozen vegetables and throw them in a steamer.
  • If you want fish, steam 2-4 pieces of fish in a steamer.
  • When everything is cooked get out your plastic containers and put 1/2 cup of vegetables and your protein on top.
  • Seperate and space out your food for the week.

Cooking all this food should only take you 45 minutes on a Sunday to do. It's really easy and you don't have to be Chef Ramsey to get this done.

This is the only way that we have found that works really well for our Hercules Fitness Studio clients. If you are busy at work or running errands around town...Then preparing your meals in advance will help you a reach your weight loss goals sooner.

Because you planned out your meals, you will never have an excuse for not eating right anymore. Plus you will save a ton of money from not going out and eating junk food.

Remember weight loss doesn't happened overnight. It takes consistency and not eating like crap everyday. Eating clean and having a healthy diet consistently beats out a hardcore training session any day.

By preparing your meals for the week will definetly help you reach your goals sooner because you will be eating healthier on consistent basis.

I needed to see this. This makes one of the toughest parts of the "weight loss transition" much more simplified. Thanks Jenn!!

Very nice! Much better than the old one, though that one helped me out in the beginning.

One of these days you will need to do one for helping people learn to eat once they want to stop loosing weight and just maintain. . .

Excellent video! It was nice to see the visual of planning your weekly meals. The tip on separate containers is very, very helpful - it saves time & keeps your food fresh. This video brought the grocery tour today full circle for me. Thanks!

dear jenn,

Thanks for the how-to. when I read to take oatmeal with egg whites, I tried mixing them together raw before cooking, and that didn't work... Boiling them and eating them separately would seem to work better...
going out now to buy containers.

Thanks,

Scott

scoot...awesome.. I will teach you how to do the oatmeal and egg whites in micro... if you are doing 1/2 cup of plain oatmeal..then only mix 1/2 cup water and 4 egg whites.. you can use a splenda or pinch of cinnamon if you need a little sweet..then put them in micro for about a minute (they will not be done)..mix them and put them back in.. set micro for another 40sec..but stay close and watch to make sure they dont overflow. good job o setting up for success... rob.. thank you soooo much for joining and welcome to the program.. you are on your way..results baby. make sure to watch all the videos...even the grocery tour...sooooomuch info. good luck. stay healthy and happy
