Bay Area Personal Trainer's Top 20 Tips For Success

  
  
  

If your looking to achieve a goal whether that's fitness or personal endeavors...Then check out what I've learned about how to achieve success over the last 10 years as a Bay Area Personal Trainer.

I came up with 20 tips for success:

1) Preparation pays off. Always have a game plan before you set your mind to achieve a certain task. Don't go into anything blindly.

2) Have good support around you. There is nothing better than having a group of positive people around you to hold you accountable.

3) Don't make things bigger in your mind. If you build things up too big in your head you will end up quitting before you start. This is the number one reason why people end up quitting ofrustrationn themselves.

4) Get rid of self negative talk. Guess what we all have it and  encounter it on a daily basis when things get tough. Acknowledge it and tell yourself to shut up.

5) Trust people who are experts to you. Don't try to reinvent the wheel. Get experts to help you reach your goal. Example if you are struggling with weight loss then hire a fitness professional.

6) Success is 1% information and 99% application. It doesn't matter how much you know, but if you apply what you know. Remember the 80/20 rule in life. 80% of people will fail and the 20% will not. Which category do you fall in?

7)When you are going through challenging things in your life, personal growth occurs.

8) When you break through mental barriers in your head, then you set point for other achievements is broken too and the bar is automatically set higher.

9) Get out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself everyday.

10) Get together with other like minded people is inspiring. Find folks in your area that want to accomplish the same goals you have.

11) Don't overwhelm yourself by setting too high of goals that aren't realistic or attainable that moment. Simply set daily and weekly goals and you will be able to achieve anything.

12) Do things in order.

13) Work hard and be willing to do anything and whatever it takes.

14) Celebrate your small accomplishments, it will push youkekoa aguirre to win.

15) Lead by example, if you say your going to do something do it. I imagine that my son is standing right behind watching every move I make.

16) Embrace pain. Pain is an indication of progress. Only dead people don't feel pain.

17) Ignore haters! They will always be around. Your always going to have people tell you that you can't do anything. For some reason they are the closest ones to you.

18) Put your head on a chopping block and tell everyone your goals and when you will achieve them. Stick to your deadline and let everyone know when it is.

19) Your goal is a game of mental toughness.

20) Take your deadlines and cut them in half.
