The next time you decide to go shopping at your local east bay grocery store, check out this movie documentary. It's called "Food Inc." my wife and I rented it on netflix one day and we were so surprised how our food is manufactured before it' s sold in our grocery store.

It's really disgusting how the animals are treated in this documentary. If your looking to lose weight, you need to check this movie out. You will be extremely surprised what you see in this movie.

This movie was so disgusting to me that I couldn't eat meat for a month!

So today I want you to watch this trailer and rent this movie today so that you know what your really eating and buying at your local east bay grocery store.

Tell me what you think about the trailer & leave your comments down below

I believe those video's are very true. Read "The Kind DIet" by Alicia Siverstone. I'm reading it right now and it gives you a new perspective on why processed meats, poultry, fish and diary are not good for our bodies and are the causes for a majority of our diseases. It explains to you a diet that is kind to the earth as well. It's a vegan book, but i'm not turning vegan just yet..but I am starting to look at what I eat differently, slowly :)

I watched this a few weeks ago and I completely agree with the statements made. I was already buying organic chicken, dairy products and cereal. I think growth hormones are what caused so many girls to start developing at a young age.

@ Darla, I totally agree are kids are growing at a fast rate no a days due to the hormones injected in our food. This is also a reason why our kids are obese and is the number 1 killer in America

Food Inc is nuts, great informative documentary. Pretty sad what goes on in the big scheme of things

I love this documentary! It definitely changes the way you view the food industry. A good read is "The Ominvore's Dilema" by Berkely local Michael Pollan. Now you know why I'm a vegan :)

@Justin it is sad

@Megan, when I watched the movie I actually thought of you. A great place to get fresh organic food locally is at the new Marketplace Hall in Hercules. They have a farmer's market on Saturday mornings.

I loved this movie. It really makes you think. I worry about what's happening to our food industry-- what it means for our health, our planet's health and for low-wage workers. THANKS CRISTAIN AND JENN!!!
