5 Weird Tips For Getting Flat Abs East Bay

  
  
  

I was thinking long and hard on what the best ways to get a flat stomach are. Some people would say, nutrition others would say 1000's of sit-ups a day.

Unfortunately, you can't spot-reduce fat and you certainly can't just eat a clean diet and expect a flat and toned stomach. It takes a combination of doing enough cardio, resistance training, proper nutrition, and consistency every day in order for you to have the flat abs of your dreams.

Here are my 5 weird tips to achieving a flat stomach:

1) Do interval training by speeding up your workout and then slowing it back down again. Example would be to sprint for 30 seconds and then jog for 3 minutes. Another example would be to circuit train for 5 minutes straight and then walk on the treadmill for 5 minutes. Just as long as you are training your heart to spike up and recover quickly, this will help increase you body's metabolism, which will promote burning more calories.

2) Try to have the majority of your carbohydrates from fruits and vegetables. This way you can stay away from complex carbs that seem to take forever to digest. Eat your fruits and vegetables so that you can keep your blood sugars levels even throughout the day and it will help with proper digestion.

3) You should be able to perform the plank for 2 minutes. A recent study says that if a person cannot hold a plank for 2 minutes, means that person has too much belly fat. So if you can't hold a plank for 2 minutes do them everyday until you can with ease.

4) Super-set your exercises all together in one training session. Study show that by doing a full body workout will increase your heart rate--->increase your metabolism--->burn more calories in a short amount of time.

5) To see your abs, a man must lose 10% of their body fat and women must lose 16% body fat. To do this you must incorporate proper nutrition and short bursts of intense workout sessions if you want your body fat to go down quickly.

Bonus Tip: If you want to work your abs out harder than doing planks, get a stability ball. Research shows that training your core on a stability ball is 30% times harder than traditional sit ups and crunches.
