Today, I want to share with you 15 East Bay fat burning foods that are guaranteed to increase your metabolism and burn the belly fat away.
Here are your 15 East Bay fat burning foods:
1) Milk, Whole Grain Cereal, Oats: Complex carbs, when eaten in moderation, can increase your metabolism and keep insulin levels low after you eat. This is good because when insulin spikes, your body will start to store more body fat. Eating breakfast first thing in the morning will help to keep your insulin levels down which will help increase your metabolism.
Studies show that calcium in milk is a metabolic trigger and when between 1,200 and 1,300 milligrams were consumed by dieters, they lost twice as much weight than dieters that were deficient in calcium.
2) Jalepenos, Habaneros & Cayenne Peppers: These little bad boys speed up your heart rate. Did you know that eating spicy foods can increase your metabolism by 25%? It's true, and after 3 hours of consuming one of these spicy peppers, the body will continue to burn calories.
3) Green Tea, Coffee: Caffeine will speed up your heart rate which will increase your metabolism while at rest. Not only will caffeine speed up your heart rate, but it will rev up your brain and nervous system which will also increase metabolism.
Studies have shown that ingesting caffeine prior to exercise will help in decreased muscle fatigue and greater amounts of oxygen consumption. The more your body can consume oxygen so that muscles can contract for longer periods of time, the faster your body will burn calories.
4) Lean Beef, Pork, Chicken, Turkey: Protein intake is essential for lean muscle growth. The more lean muscle tissue your body has the longer your body will continue to burn calories at rest.
Studies also show that protein takes longer for your body to digest than carbohydrates and fat. The more protein your body has, the more energy your digestive system must output in order to break down the food. The more energy spent, the more calories your body will have to burn.
5) Salmon, Tuna, Sardines: Fish is known for altering leptin levels. We have a hormone that is produced called leptin. The more leptin we have, the higher fat percentage. Salmon, tuna, sardines are known to lower leptin levels. The lower the leptin, the lower the body fat. The lower the body fat, the faster your metabolism will be.
I hope you found the information regarding these 15 East Bay fat burning foods helpful. The next time you go to the grocery store, come back to this page and make a list of our 15 fat burning foods.

Plyometric training, in my opinion, is the best way to increase strength, endurance, speed, and agility. But most importantly, it promotes weight loss. Plyometric training focuses on training your muscles to contract with quickness and power.
The reason why plyometric training promotes weight loss at a much higher frequency than traditional training is due to the combination of anaerobic and aerobic exercises.
Anaerobic is when oxygen in the muscles is used up quickly while performing an exercise.
These means that while doing resistance training your body is using a lot of oxygen and running out due to the size of the muscle being worked.
Aerobic is when oxygen is being used during exercise, such as running, jogging, hiking, etc.
Combining these two styles of workouts will increase your metabolism which will make you burn fat quickly. Combining anaerobic and aerobic exercises together will save you time, increase endurance, promoting lean muscle, and weight loss.
Traditional exercise doesn't challenge your muscles or cardiovascular system as much or as quickly as plyometric training.
If you can't do all the jumping and speed exercises demonstrated in this video, do bodyweighted exercises instead. Bodyweighted exercises are just as good as plyometric training and will also promote weight loss at a faster rate than traditional weight training.
I'd love to hear your comments and questions below about plyometric training.

If your fitness goals include weight loss and fat burning, kettlebell training is a great component to add to your current routine. The results from an effective kettlebell workout can be amazing if done properly.
Many women are gravitating toward kettelebell training because of the fact that it is a super fat burning workout. Most women have fitness goals of weight loss and building lean muscle mass, and kettlebell workouts offer those results when practiced regularly. Since kettlebells are such a challenging workout, most women notice a change in their body in as little as a week.
One of the unique things about kettlebell routines is that they are typically a lot shorter than a regular strength training workout with dumbbells. The reason for this is because kettlebells are heavy and disproportionate in comparison to a dumbbell, whose weight is evenly distributed. Not only are you engaging your muscles to lift the weight of a kettlebell, you are also engaging your muscles to control it.
Because of the level of difficulty of a kettlebell workout, workout times are usually half that of a typical dumbbell routine. Since you are engaging several different muscle groups all at once, kettlebell training can give you the same or even better results in less time.
Another benefit to kettlebell training is you can forego your typical boring elliptical machine session and use kettlebells instead. Used as a cardio workout, kettlebell routines can also help break your body out of a plateau, because it's challenging your body to do something unlike what you may currently be doing. The most effective way to break out of a plateau is to shock your body into working out differently.
Kettlebell training can be used in a bunch of different ways and yield huge benefits. You can use them to shake up your current cardio routine or as an adjunct to an already established workout routine. They not only help burn fat, but increase strength, endurance, but help build bone density, which is ideal for women to reduce the risk of osteoporosis later in life.
